AI agents that do the sales admin so reps can actually sell

What Spiich is building

Spiich is an AI sales assistant built around a deliberately narrow promise: the agent does everything around the sale and nothing inside it. It finds accounts that match the ICP, identifies decision-makers and writes them into the CRM. Before a meeting it builds the brief; after the call it updates the CRM, drafts the follow-up and flags deals that have gone quiet. The rep reviews and sends. Johan Torssell's line on this is blunt: 'You must review the message before sending it, but most of the work is carried out by Spiich.' The product runs in three modes. There is a conversational assistant, voice or chat, for ad-hoc lead research. There are autonomous background agents that fire on schedules or CRM triggers. And there is meeting intelligence for the before and after of every call. It plugs into HubSpot, Attio, Pipedrive and Salesforce plus Gmail, Outlook, Google Calendar, LinkedIn, Lemlist, Fathom, Google Meet and Slack, and the company claims setup takes about three minutes. The positioning is the interesting bit. Spiich explicitly rejects the 'replace the SDR' model of Artisan and 11x, and names Rox and Monaco as its closest competitors because both run end-to-end agent models. Spiich is betting that the rep stays in the loop and that the winning product is the one reps actually want open all day, not the one that cuts the most heads. The sweet spot is European B2B SaaS companies of 20-500 people with sales teams of 20-200 reps.

Why this matters

The company's own numbers are the argument: reps spend only 22% of the workweek meeting customers, and Spiich claims to take back 9+ hours of admin per rep per week. Those are Spiich's figures, not independent research, but the retention data backs them up: net revenue retention of 160%, 'almost no churn', 50+ customers in 15 countries and more than 100% month-on-month growth in early 2026. That is what a tool reps pull into their day looks like, not one a VP forces on them. The timing argument is about who wins AI sales tooling in Europe. The US category has split into full-autonomy SDR replacements and CRM-native copilots. Europe is a different market: sales teams are smaller, data protection rules are stricter and buyers are warier of an agent emailing prospects on its own. A human-in-the-loop product built in Stockholm, with Lovable and Neo4j founders on the cap table, is well placed to become the default there before the US players localise.

Investors: Ugly Duckling Ventures (lead), Alliance VC, Cherry Ventures, Ampli Ventures, Angels: Fabian Hedin (Lovable), Emil Eifrem (Neo4j), Lukas Saari (Tandem Health), OpenAI's Head of Startups

Hiring outlook

The announcement says the round will grow the engineering and go-to-market teams. The careers page lists seven open roles, all on-site in Stockholm, and six carry 'Founding' in the title. The team went from 2 to 8 in seven months, so this is a company actively hiring.

Hiring intensity: 8/8

Working at Spiich

Spiich is AI agents that do the sales admin so reps can actually sell, and now <50 people. Working at a AI company at this stage means broad remit, direct access to founders, and equity that still means something if the company works out.

Stockholm, Sweden is where most Spiich positions are located.

How to actually get hired at Spiich

Why applying the normal way doesn't work

At <50 people, Spiich has no recruiting team. Your application lands with a founder who is also running sales, product and payroll. The obstacle isn't a queue or an ATS, it's being seen at all. Cold outreach outperforms the form here, consistently.

Founding team

JT
Johan Torssell
Co-Founder & CEO

Johan studied Industrial Engineering & Management at KTH Royal Institute of Technology (B.Sc. 2017-2020, M.Sc. 2020-2022), where he was a board member and driver of the faculty's entrepreneurship association. He turned down an offer from Palantir to co-found Spiich in June 2025 and has since grown it to 50+ customers across 15 countries.

DH
Dennis Hadzialic
Co-Founder & CTO

Dennis studied Computer Science at KTH before leaving to build. He worked as a software engineer at IBM and a full-stack developer at VNTRS and Nevermind before co-founding Spiich, where he leads a small engineering team based in Stockholm.

What to show them

Build a small post-call agent: take a real (or public) sales call transcript, extract next steps, stakeholders and deal-stage changes, and write them to a HubSpot or Attio sandbox as a diff a rep approves or rejects. Log where the model got the CRM field wrong and how you caught it.

A cold email that works at Spiich

Subject: Founding AI Engineer (Stockholm, on-site), [your one-line proof]
Hi Dennis, the hard part of 'the rep reviews before sending' isn't the draft, it's making the review take five seconds instead of five minutes. I built a post-call agent that writes CRM updates as an approvable diff and measured how often reps would have had to fix it. Here's the repo and the failure log.

What Spiich screens for

Ugly Duckling led a round that came together fast: TFN reports the term sheet arrived within two weeks. Cherry Ventures and Alliance VC joined, and the pre-seed angels (Lovable's Fabian Hedin, Neo4j's Emil Eifrem, Tandem Health's Lukas Saari) are Stockholm's best-known operators, which says the local founder network sees this team as the next one out. The hiring window is right now. Six 'Founding' titles at an 8-person company, with the seed just announced, means the first ten hires will set the culture and most of the stack. The process is two weeks from email to offer, so a strong applicant can be in the room by October.

Customize your CV for the Spiich role. Matching the job description language helps clear ATS filters.

Don't make these mistakes

Pitching 'AI that replaces sales reps' or telling them about autonomous SDR agents. Their whole company is a bet against that, and they name Artisan and 11x as the model they reject. Also skip the remote-work question: the careers page says fully on-site in Stockholm, 'building together, in the same room.' Johan turned down Palantir to start this, so generic startup enthusiasm won't land. Show you've sat through the CRM-update grind yourself.

Mistakes that kill Spiich applications

A recycled CV gets rejected fast at Spiich (<50 people). They notice.

Don't open with what you want. Open with what Spiich is dealing with right now β€” The company's own numbers are the argument: reps spend only 22% of the workweek meeting customers, and Spiich claims to take back 9+ hours of admin per rep per week, and what you'd do about it.

Most AI applications get ghosted. A day-five follow-up can double your response rate.
