What syte is building
syte answers one question for anyone who touches land: what can be built here, what is it worth, and does it pay? The platform holds more than 62 million parcels and buildings across Germany with the geodata, building law and market signals layered on, and automates the work that normally takes a project developer or a bank weeks of consultants: development, existing-stock, energy and renovation potential; location and market value via price signals and comparables; building code review; and development-potential reports. On top of discovery sit simulation and economics. Users test building variants, produce renovation plans with costs and efficiency targets, run photovoltaic potential, sketch 3D massing with AI visualisations, then compare scenarios (existing stock, renovation, densification, new build) with live financial modelling. Portfolio mode runs the same analysis across a housing company's or bank's whole book to find the high-potential assets. There is an API and developer platform for embedding it. Customers named on the site include Engel & Völkers, BPD, Sparkasse, Volksbank, Landmarken AG and AddValue; the segments are developers, housing companies, banks and brokers, agents, municipalities and planners. The stack, per the CTO's own hiring post: React/TypeScript, Python/FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Three.js and Mapbox, with the engineering team working AI-native with Claude Code and Copilot.
