LEAP is a transformer-free guardrail that runs on ordinary CPUs and returns a verdict in under five milliseconds, with no GPU footprint and no context-window ceiling. RAPID is the escape hatch: a self-hosted LLM-as-a-judge for the decisions that genuinely require plain-language policy reasoning, at a claimed 100-200x lower cost than calling a cloud model API. A routing layer decides which engine sees what. Both are patent pending. The deployment surface is the whole agent lifecycle, not just the prompt: Lasso says it covers tens of thousands of agents and secures billions of requests and actions per month. The interesting engineering claim is the transformer-free part. Getting competitive detection accuracy on injection and policy violations without an attention stack is a real modeling problem, and it is the reason the cost curve bends.
