What Euno is building
Euno builds what it calls a context brain: a system that continuously researches and reconstructs the knowledge sitting behind an enterprise's data, then serves that knowledge to AI agents at the moment they need it. Concretely, it derives lineage, meaning, ownership and governance rules across the whole data and AI stack, and enforces security boundaries in real time so an agent can be let loose without being able to reach something it should not. The company started somewhere narrower. It came out of stealth as a dynamic data modelling and governance platform, the thing that let data teams build and evolve models alongside the business rather than in a separate repo nobody reads. That heritage is the reason the current product works: semantic layers, dbt models, Tableau and Looker definitions are the artefacts where an organisation's meaning is actually encoded, and Euno already knew how to read them. The reframe to 'context brain' is an argument about where the moat lives. Sarah Levy states it directly: 'Models keep getting better and cheaper, but the long-term AI moat for enterprises will increasingly come from the accumulated record of how work gets done.' If the frontier model is a commodity, the differentiator is whether your agent knows that 'active customer' means something different in finance than in the product org, and who owns the definition. N47's Moshe Zilberstein frames the competitive claim more sharply: 'Euno is the only company building it AI-native instead of retrofitting a solution meant for people.' Catalogs, glossaries and governance tools were designed as things humans read. An agent needs context delivered as a queryable, enforced runtime surface, and that is a different product even when it covers the same nouns.
Why this matters
The enterprise AI failure mode has moved. It is rarely the model being wrong in the abstract; it is the model being confidently wrong about a metric definition, a join path, or a permission boundary it was never told about. Every organisation that has tried to point an agent at its warehouse has hit the same wall, and the wall is context, not capability. Euno's claim is that it gets Fortune 500 customers into production in weeks, and it has the named logos to make that checkable rather than aspirational: AlphaSense in market intelligence, Zayo Group in telecommunications. It was also named to Gartner's 2026 Coolest Vendor Innovations in Data Management report. For a company founded in 2023 with roughly 30 people, that is a lot of enterprise proof for the stage. The angel list is its own market argument. Yinon Kostika from Wiz, Yotam Segev from Cyera, Ofir Ehrlich from Eon, Rotem Weiss from Tavily: four founders who each built enterprise infrastructure that had to earn trust before it earned adoption. Add Mark Nelson, who ran Tableau, and you have people who know precisely how long it takes an enterprise to agree on what a number means. They are betting that agreement is now a software product.

Levy has spent more than two decades on data problems inside large organisations, across cybersecurity, healthcare and finance, and is a Talpiot alum. She studied at the Weizmann Institute of Science before a career built around the unglamorous middle of the stack: data governance, data operations, BI tools like Tableau and Looker, and the modern data stack around dbt. She co-founded Euno with Eyal Firstenberg in 2023 and now runs it from San Francisco. She writes and speaks regularly on semantic layers and why they are the precondition for autonomous agents, which is less a marketing position than the thing she has been arguing since long before agents existed.
Firstenberg came up through Israeli military intelligence as a section head in Unit 8200 and is a Talpiot alum. He was VP of R&D at LightCyber, the behavioural-attack-detection company acquired by Palo Alto Networks, then stayed on as Senior Director of Engineering at Palo Alto Networks from March 2017 until December 2022, when he left to co-found Euno. He holds an M.Sc. from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and leads the San Francisco office. His whole career has been building systems that infer meaning from messy signal and then have to be trusted in production, which is a fair description of what Euno does to a data stack.
What to show them
Build a small but honest reproduction of the failure Euno sells against. Stand up a toy warehouse with two conflicting definitions of the same business metric — one in a dbt model, one baked into a BI layer — then point an agent at it and record it answering confidently and wrongly. Now write the context artefact that fixes it: the lineage, the owner, the disambiguation rule. Record the same question answered correctly. A three-minute screen recording of wrong-then-right, plus the artefact, is a better pre-sales demo than anything on a slide.

Those specific people back things that enterprises have to trust before they can use. Zilberstein's 'AI-native instead of retrofitting a solution meant for people' is the whole bet in one line.
