The Opportunity
Our partner is hiring a high-energy Business Development Representative to drive top-of-funnel through high-volume outbound cold calling. This is a startup seat with real autonomy and no hand-holding: you will watch live calls, then quickly start running your own, and move fast in an unstructured, high-growth environment.
It is an urgent hire, and the right person will have room to grow quickly as the sales team expands.
Responsibilities
- Drive high-volume outbound cold calling throughout the day
- Book qualified meetings to feed active sales cycles
- Research accounts and identify the right stakeholders to reach
- Operate autonomously in a fast-moving startup environment
- Iterate quickly on messaging and approach based on what works on the phone
Requirements
- At least 1 year of full-time work experience (recent grads with a year of experience welcome)
- Grit, charisma, and the intelligence to hold your own with sharp, experienced people
- Sales or sales-adjacent experience preferred but not required
- Startup experience a strong plus
- A clear growth trajectory and the drive to move up quickly
- Able to work onsite in New York City, 5 days a week
