The best auto-apply tools in 2026, compared

Eight tools that apply to jobs for you, compared on who presses send, what they cost, whether you can try them free and what users say. We read each one's own pages and its Trustpilot reviews on October 23, 2026, and every fact about them links to where we read it.

Updated . Written by The Anti Job Board: we make a job search tool that doesn't auto-apply, so we compete with every tool on this page. Read it knowing that.

The short version

If you want a tool to apply for you, pick one that lets you see what goes out in your name. Tsenta shows you every change before anything goes out, from $19 a month for 600 applications with the first 25 free[1]. Jobright has the best reviews of the eight, 4.8 on Trustpilot from 3,640[2], and its basic service is free[3]. Simplify's autofill is free and unlimited if you'd rather press submit yourself[4]. AIApply can wait for your OK on every application[5], and its Auto Apply costs from $49 a month for 100[6]. JobCopilot and LazyApply have the weakest reviews, 1.9 and 2.1 on Trustpilot[7][8].

How we ranked them

First, whether you can see what goes out in your name before it goes. An application with a wrong answer or a skill you don't have is worse than none, and reviewers of two of these tools say that happened to them[7][18].

Then, weighed together: whether the price is on the site and you can try it free, and what users say on Trustpilot. It's our judgement, and we compete with all eight, so the table above has the facts to make your own call.

Does auto-applying work?

They get more applications out. Whether anyone reads them is another matter. LinkedIn was processing 11,000 applications a minute in 2025, 45% more than a year before, and as some candidates pay AI agents to find jobs and apply for them, recruiters report that many résumés look suspiciously similar[28].

The tools' own pages point the same way. JobCopilot's site says the average person needs to apply to 50 to 100 jobs to get one interview[19], and JobHire.AI's says invitations usually start 7 to 14 days after you set up[27]. One AIApply user's account on Reddit is titled "AI Apply: $639, 78 days and 1283 applications later"[29].

Where a tool applies matters too. LinkedIn prohibits software and extensions that automate activity on its site, and says accounts that use them risk being restricted or shut down[30].

Our view: an auto-applier is fine for breadth, on roles you'd take but wouldn't rearrange your week for. For the companies you would, write to the person hiring.

What we do instead

The Anti Job Board is a job search autopilot for startup roles. You paste your LinkedIn and answer a few questions; every morning it finds new roles that fit at startups and tech companies, finds the person who leads hiring for each one by name, and writes a short email to them in your voice. You read every email and send it from your own Gmail.

It doesn't auto-apply or fill in application forms for you. You send far fewer messages than an auto-applier would, each one to a person rather than a pile. Plans start at $33.99 a month, and a free run shows you how many live roles fit you first.

Paste your LinkedIn: autopilot finds the roles, the person hiring for each, and writes the email. Free to try; plans from $33.99 a month.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best auto-apply tool?

It depends on how much you want to check before it sends. Tsenta shows you every change before anything goes out[1]. Jobright has the best Trustpilot score of the eight, 4.8 from 3,640 reviews[2]. If you'd rather submit each application yourself, Simplify's autofill is free[4].

Do auto-apply tools work?

They send more applications, not better ones. LinkedIn was processing 11,000 applications a minute in 2025, 45% more than a year before[28], so each one is a smaller share of a bigger pile. JobCopilot's own site says the average person needs to apply to 50 to 100 jobs to get one interview[19].

How much do auto-apply tools cost?

LoopCV has a free plan, and paid plans from €9.99 a month[21]. Tsenta is $19 a month for 600 applications[1], AIApply's Auto Apply $49 a month for 100[6], Simplify+ $39.99 a month with 20 Autopilot applications a week[13][25], and LazyApply $99 to $999 a year[24].

Which auto-apply tools are free?

LoopCV has a free plan with no time limit[21], Tsenta gives you 25 applications free[1] and Jobright's basic service is free[3]. Simplify's autofill is free with no limit, but Autopilot, the part that applies for you, comes with Simplify+[4][12]. JobCopilot, JobHire.AI and LazyApply have no free plan[20][17][24].

Is auto-applying allowed on LinkedIn?

LinkedIn prohibits third-party software and extensions that automate activity on its site, and says accounts that use them risk being restricted or shut down[30]. Tools like Tsenta and JobCopilot apply on companies' own career pages and application systems instead[1][19].

Is The Anti Job Board an auto-apply tool?

No. It doesn't auto-apply or fill in application forms for you. It finds startup roles that fit you and the person who leads hiring for each, and writes them a short email in your voice, which you read and send from your own Gmail. Plans start at $33.99 a month.
