How they write addresses
Cleo email format
How Cleo writes its people's work addresses, read from addresses an email verifier confirmed.
The format, on a made-up name
Cleo writes addresses as first initial followed by last name, at cleo.com. Jane Doe isn't a real person: put in the name of the one you want to reach.
Writing to someone at Cleo
Find the person
For a role, that's the hiring manager or whoever leads the team. The posting, Cleo's team page or LinkedIn usually names them.
Write their name as Cleo does
Lowercase, with accents dropped: Jane Doe is [email protected], and Zoë Núñez would be [email protected].
Check it before you send
An email verifier tells you whether the mailbox exists without sending anything. A bounce costs more than the check: too many and your emails start landing in spam.

Check the spelling of their name first. Then try the next most common formats at startups: [email protected] and [email protected]. Someone who goes by a short name may use it in their address too.
How do you know Cleo's email format?
From addresses we've found for Cleo's people and checked with an email verifier, which asks Cleo's mail server whether each mailbox exists without sending anything.
