Mid-Market Account Executive
About Trnsact
We're building the digital rails for commercial equipment.
Every truck, excavator and tractor sold in North America moves through a dealer, a lender and a stack of paperwork. Credit applications get re-keyed into lender portals. Approvals come back by email. F&I products get quoted on spreadsheets. Commercial equipment is one of the largest markets in the economy, and it still runs on phone calls, PDFs and faxes.
Trnsact is the transaction operating system that fixes that. Dealers, lenders, OEMs and protection providers use one platform for credit, lender orchestration, F&I, OEM visibility and digital retailing. Dealers reach 280+ lenders from one place.
We work with Penske, Ryder, Daimler and CAT dealers. We're about $3M ARR, cash-flow positive, and customers rarely leave. When we go head to head with a competitor, we almost always win.
About the Role
We're looking for a driven Mid-Market Account Executive to own new business with truck, construction and ag dealer groups of 5 to 30+ rooftops. You'll work full-cycle deals with general managers, finance directors, F&I leaders and owners. You'll show them how Trnsact speeds up every deal and grows F&I revenue.
Most of these buyers have never bought a platform like ours. The best reps here love discovery: learning how a dealership really runs, finding the pain, and building the business case with the customer.
Key Responsibilities
- Pipeline Development: Source, qualify and convert new dealer-group opportunities across North America, alongside marketing, trade shows and partner referrals.
- Sales Cycle Management: Run the full cycle from prospecting and discovery through demo, proposal, pricing and close, on deals of $15K to $100K with 30 to 90 day cycles.
- Consultative Discovery: Map how each dealer runs credit, lender submissions and F&I today, and quantify what changes with Trnsact.
- Relationship Building: Build trust with operators and executives, from F&I managers to dealer principals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with our product, dealer performance and marketing teams, and bring customer feedback back to the roadmap.
- Forecasting: Keep HubSpot accurate, with amounts, next steps and closed-lost reasons on every deal.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years closing B2B software or financial services deals, with quota attainment you can show by quarter.
- Pipeline Generation: Self-sourced pipeline you can quantify: dollars added per quarter and the plays that worked.
- Consultative Selling: You can find the pain when the buyer hasn't named it, and turn it into urgency and ROI.
- Coachability: You change what you do after feedback, not just what you say.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience selling to dealers, lenders, F&I or equipment finance is a strong plus.
Earning Opportunity and Benefits
- Compensation: Competitive base with tiered, uncapped commission and accelerators above quota.
- Ramp Support: A guaranteed-variable first quarter, a starting book of active deals, and a 90-day bootcamp with our senior sales team.
- Equity: An early-stage equity grant with real upside.
- Growth: Join as one of our first AEs and grow into larger accounts or leadership as the team scales.
Expected Range: $100,000 to $120,000 base; $180,000 to $220,000 OTE; plus equity
